We have updated our team training practices and continually offer on-the-job training as advancements are made in the pet care industry.
Aline
Aline is from Brazil and always had an enormous love for both dogs and cats. She is also an artist who gets very inspired by the unique personalities that each pet brings to the workplace. Whether it’s a playful energetic puppy or a lazy old cat, Aline treats and loves each of them like family, offering them a caring and affectionate environment where they can feel safe, loved, and happy.Andrea
Andrea is a psychology student at Simon Fraser University and has been part of the Adventure Den team for over a year. A lifelong animal lover, she finds great joy and fulfillment in caring for the dogs and cats that come through the doors. Gaining the trust of each pet has been a rewarding experience she cherishes deeply.Asie
Originally from the Philippines, Asie previously worked as a dog kennel attendant before becoming a Dog Daycare Specialist at The Den. She has a great love for outdoor adventures with her dogs—six golden retrievers and four rescued strays back home. Her favourite spot is the beach at sunset. Though she misses her dogs dearly, she finds great happiness in spending time with the lovable pups at The Den. Her ultimate goal is to open a safe animal rescue and adoption center in her hometown to help even more dogs find their forever homes.Joao (Mario)
A Web Dev student from Brazil, João loves animals and has a keen eye for detail, whether he’s debugging code or providing medical care for pets. Cheerful and attentive, he offers personalized support whenever it’s needed.Josie
Josie has always been an animal lover, even though she never had a pet growing up. Working at Adventure Den has been deeply meaningful, giving her the chance to bond with and watch the dogs grow and thrive. Mikaela is an international student who completed her Bachelor’s in Accounting in the Philippines and is now pursuing an Advanced Accounting program. Her love for animals began at the age of eight with her first pet, and she has always had furry companions since. Though she’s in a new country, working at Adventure Den feels like home, as caring for animals has always been a constant in her life. She is dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for every pet in her care.Nicky
Nicky is a certified veterinary nurse whose lifelong passion for animals began in childhood, growing up with both dogs and cats. They currently share life with a chihuahua named Rosalita. Nicky’s favourite part of working at Canine Adventure Den is getting to know the unique personalities of all the pets!Sofia
Originally from Mexico, Sofia has always held pets close to her heart. Working with animals has been a dream come true. She loves playing with and hugging both dogs and cats, and each day at Adventure Den brings her joy and fulfilment.Stella
Stella has had a deep passion for animals since childhood. Caring for the dogs at Adventure Den gives her a strong sense of purpose, and she takes pride in giving each dog personalized attention and affection. Outside of the Den, she works as a voice actor and enjoys creating art, screenwriting, biking, and spending time with her pet snake.Sydney
Sydney is new to Vancouver and thrilled to be part of the Adventure Den family. Her lifelong love for animals makes spending time with the pups a natural fit. When she’s not working, she enjoys playing the piano, going to the movies, and grabbing coffee with friends.Celena
For Celena, animal care is a labor of love. Armed with an Animal Care Aide Certificate, Veterinary Drug Dispensing License, and a Pet First Aid Certificate, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Her commitment to understanding and enriching the lives of animals extends beyond the Den, making her a well-rounded and invaluable member of the team. With years of experience in canine care, Celena ensures each pup receives individual attention, playtime, and affection, fostering a joyful atmosphere at Adventure Den.Kami
With a lifelong passion for animals, Kami is currently studying animal sciences. Having never lived in a place that allowed dogs, and now working daily with so many lovable pups has been a truly rewarding experience. After over a year at the Den, they’ve grown deeply fond of both the dogs and their owners and are excited to continue providing care and companionship.Mary
Mary is a university student who is a huge dog person and is so happy to be working with them. She grew up with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers but is now a corgi fan. She also loves small animals and owns hairless rats. In her spare time, Mary loves dancing and doing art projects.Colm
Colm joined the Adventure Den team over two years ago after moving to Canada three years prior. He studied Marketing Practice at the National College of Ireland and enjoys applying his knowledge to the pet care industry. Dogs have always played a significant role in his life — from growing up with three at home to helping his grandfather care for a litter of seven Border Collies. Over 12 years ago, he adopted a stray dog he named Greg, who has remained his loyal companion ever since.Catherine
Catherine has been with Adventure Den since 2012 and wakes up every morning looking forward to spending her day with the dogs! It keeps her grounded and happy. She is a huge help with all the tasks we do everyday. Even though she’s been here for years she is learning everyone’s name still due to all the new pups! Dogs mean a lot to her and are a huge part of her life.
